Obituary Notice

His Holiness Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI died in the Lord at the Vatican on 31st December 2022 at 9.34 a.m. (Roman time), at the age of 95.

On behalf of all the faithful of the Diocese of Macau, Bishop Stephen Lee expresses our gratefulness to our late Holy Father for his pastoral care and exemplary service to the Church. A Requiem Mass will be offered in the Cathedral on Thursday, 5th January 2023, at 7 p.m.
